MPS Status

• Argon only turned on during force tests
• Detectors in working order

BLM force tests

• Straight forward so far
• Prevention of second force
• if applying second force, instead of rejecting it, it removes force from first detector and forces the other
• EHAT:LIC1 (has 2 sets of redundancies)
• EHAT:LIC2 ()
• Done half of the BLMs without beam
• And then do the beam tests
• ELBT wouldn't include any force parts
• April 22nd was the plan for beam back, but need to get egun oil
• April 22nd shielding should be replaced that day

• Collimator in the making (in one of the machine shops)
• Designed by sci-tec
• No installation before summer
• Need specs from Stephanie
• Need work request for the install, so likely needed since multiple groups will be involved

• Next steps?
• Do we have specs, to check if it can be implemented into our MPS system? ==> Stephanie

Fibre/Simulations

• No updates from Alexey
• Has working simulation and now just doing checking of various positioning of detectors
• Put LICs along the beamline in simulation, will determine on how many we need
• Timeline for when the beamlines will be in place?
• Will beamlines be installed both at the same time? Probably?
• Need to have large benders from BL4N installed first

AOB

• Darklight got RTI around 400k
• And already have an NSERC
• Build a ring in the ehall to boost the energy
• On top of being committed to realize terraherzt
• And need protection system for the ring as well (for free! ;))
• Some old PhD thesis for design draft available and from ERL (Berlin)
